Head Girls Soccer Coach – Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the girls soccer program in accordance with school district policies and TSSAA rules and regulations.

• Plan and conduct effective practices that develop individual skills, team tactics, conditioning, and sportsmanship.

• Prepare teams for competition, including game planning, in-game coaching, and post-game evaluation.

• Promote academic success, character development, and positive behavior among student-athletes.

• Make fair and informed decisions regarding team selection, positions, and playing time.

• Ensure the safety and supervision of student-athletes at all practices, games, and during travel.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with players, parents, assistant coaches, and school administrators.

• Maintain equipment, uniforms, and facilities in coordination with the athletic department.

• Hire, train, and supervise assistant coaches, when applicable.

• Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development.

• Represent the school and athletic program in a positive and professional manner at all times.
